Payback’s a bitch
They call in an invasion. I’d call it a payback.
You took our habitat. Now, pay up.

I decide that I’m going to create my Dreamboat page. Of course, the occupants of the Dreamboat would only increase as I continue to dream of my favorite men. Hehe. But it’d be fun to keep track of who I’ve dreamed about and how the dream went.
You never know. Once of these blokes may just come across my page and actually make my dream come true. You know, after we consult with Brandon first. Heh.
Are you reading this, Matthew Fox? ;-D
Just got back from spending an entire day in Pasadena with Celeste a while ago. I was supposed to go to Nhien’s party in Glendale at 7:30 but by 6 p.m. I was beat.
Let’s see here.
11:30 - Got to Celeste’s place.
12:15 - Got to the salon in Pasadena. Met Mary Ann, the stylist, Celeste’s good friend.
12:30 - Done with shampooing and having my glass of wine.
2:00 - Done with hair cut and styling.
2:15 - Settled in for lunch at Groucho Grill. Had my first Quilmes, Argentine beer. Yumm….
3:00 - Mary Ann joined us for lunch.
3:30 - Celeste and I cruised up and down Old Town. She showed me all the spots. We walked in and out of soooo many stores. God, I haven’t done that in forever! Celeste scored HUGE with the sales today. We stopped at this pub for another beer. [Celeste–remind me what that place called again?] This dude named Joe chat us up. He was loaded but very nice, so we were nice to him too. Our waiter was cute…with a fat lip. Some dude headbutted him last night when he threw the guy’s drunk ass out. Awww…. We regrouped back at the salon.
7:00 - We left Pasadena. Celeste took me on a scenic route to show me more.
8:00 - I left Celeste house and headed home.
What a day!!! And we had such a great time, both of us. ![]()
Okay. I have to get y’all caught up.
But first.
Paul called Brandon not long after we got home from his vasectomy appointment yesterday.
In a little kid’s voice: “Daddy, daddy! Why did you cut us loose? Don’t you love us any more?”
We damn near died laughing.
Yep. The vasectomy was done. Brandon stayed home today and he’s feeling just fine. The horror of yesterday seems so far away. Well, let’s just say that he wasn’t numb enough for the last little bit of the procedure.
Boys, you can uncross your legs now.
We spent the rest of evening laying about the couch together, watching “Being John Malcovich”. Me curling up on the pillows on the floor with my little fever/bodyache-yness. Brandon curling up on the couch with a bag of frozen peas.
Brandon shook his head at my choice of “weird ass” movies. You know, once in a while you have to watch something non-mainstream to clense your cinematic pallettes. Brandon said he breaks the mundane by watching those cheesy and horrible SciFi channel original movies about monster bugs, reptiles, and chupacabras. Charlie Kaufman just doesn’t do it for him.
Malcovich!??! Malcovich!?!?!
Work has been super busy. It’s like this is priority number one, but THIS needs to be done even sooner than that. Next thing I know I have a plateful of priority number ones. At one point, my desk looks like the Unabomber’s office. Stacks of papers EVERYWHERE.
I’m so swamped that stuff starting to slip through the cracks. A few things was expected of me without me knowing it. I mean, I always deliver the goods. So, if you haven’t seen the goods, may be it’s because I never get the order. Despite popular belief, I really don’t communicate via ESP.
Matter not. I’ll get it all in order on Monday. Hopefully.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s plan. First, a fancy haircut in Pasadena. My ultimate splurge! Then I’ll be hanging out with Celeste and maybe Tiffany most of the day. In the evening, I’ll be at Nhien’s for a small gathering.
Yeah, I’m leaving Brandon at home. Just the way he likes it.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
So, I missed the day of busy work. I missed the annual fireman benefit down on Hope street. I missed my eye doctor’s appointment…well, they canceled on me on that one.
What a day to have a cold! So far, I woke up at 8. Back to bed at 10. Up again at 12. And back at again at 2. I’m feeling better, but not tip-top shape.
But I’m good enough to get Brandon to his vasectomy appointment and to assist him after that.
Yep. This is it, kids.
