OakMonster for Hire
Jane of All Trades. All-in-One Communications Machine. Snarktastic Ray of Sunshine.
Everything you’d ever want from an employee/freelance consultant but haven’t found her yet.
It so happens that this University of Southern California alum with masters degree in Communications Management is seeking a rewarding and creatively challenging full-time position or freelance contract in a fast-paced environment where I can utilize my developed skills in social media community building, web design, and marketing and corporate communications.
Oh, and I can throw parties and organize gatherings and events too from an office party and an informal meet up to large conference and gala dinner.
Orange County is my home turf but I will travel as far as Downtown Los Angeles and South Bay areas. I am also well equipped for reliable telecommuting.

Passion for Building A Community–Online and Off
It’s in my personality to bring people together from hosting dinner for friends to throwing office birthday parties. And I do the same with the online community. Creating online community is more than just a professional skill to me. It’s a passion. Social media channels are not just tools, but community building blocks upon which real relationships can be built.
A Professional Closet Full of Hats. And Duct Tape.
From hands on graphic and web design, event coordination and fundraising, coordinating print projects, producing websites, managing volunteers, to writing content, I’ve done it all. You can see my handy work here on this blog. (Okay. I cheated a little bit using a pre-made WordPress theme. But I did the rest of the modifications!) My hands are nicely dirty from all the ground works I’ve done–and like to do–but my experiences in the trenches make me a better manager. With all these experiences, I am also quite a MacGuyver when it comes to finding different solutions, always ready with both proverbial and literal Swiss Army knife and some duct tape for any problems thrown my way.
Geek Ambassador
Spouting technical terms may make one sounds smart, but not everyone can understand all that geek speak. Fortunately for you, I can translate technical terms for public consumption, and vice versa. A perfect liaison for all of your new media project needs.
