Bliss

Went to bed when I wanted to. Woke up when I was good and ready. Getting ready to do whatever I want today. Ah….the start of a WONDERFUL at-home vacation! Actually, this would make my first week off of not going anywhere ever.  Usually, I’d be in Red River with Brandon’s family or back home in Bangkok.  Never once I have taken this much time off to just be here. My coworker Dave, a world’s traveler, tried to talk me into jetting off to Cambridge and visit Elan for the week.  And I did seriously thought about it.  I can...

30First

El Heffe and I share the same birthday. So he wished me a happy birthday eve this morning. “You’re way too damn happy about aging,” I wrote. “I’m actually 15 in my head,” he wrote back. “Well, in that case, you’re still older than me. Oh, hello, life.

It was like returning home from a month abroad. The world is new to me again. Now, the reintroduction to my regular life.  It’ll take a few days....

Flashback

If you leave. Take my breath away. Living on a prayer. Take on me. The last four songs my Zen randomly picked before I got to my building this morning.  At this rate, I started to feel awkward not having my leg warmers on and sort of expected to see the VERY young Tom Cruise in his tighty whitey, socks and shirt sliding past the door when my elevator opens. And yes. I really do have those songs in my MP3 collection....
