Yes. The Trojans beat Nebraska Cornhuskers to pulp yesterday 28-10. We didn’t have a good start to begin with, and on the 3rd drive of the game, this happened. Surely an injury that ends this season. Please all wish Ryan Powdrell the best. And pray for the Trojan offense to shape up after such loss. Also, even before the game, there was another kind of pain many of the current USC students experienced outside the Coliseum. The pig wasn’t roasted over open fire after all. But in a permanent luau pit. Oh yes. This guy built a luau pit in his back yard for this specific purpose. And I actually didn’t eat all that much of the pig since I had been pigging out on appetizers through the afternoon. And 2 beers with no effects! I mean, wow. I am really becoming an alcoholic! Like how I remember my last trip to Disneyland was on the day we learned that Princess Diana died, I will remember this Labor Day weekend as the weekend that we lost Steve Irwin. And that I painted my first painting on canvas. The long weekend has been just perfect. Up until I heard the news. Saturday, like I said, I slept from 12-12. Got 4 loads of laundry done through the course of USC kicking Arkansas’ butt. Oh yes. I love a game where I can actually leave the TV to go do things and not worry too much....

I slept for 12 hours last night. From 12 to 12! What a way to start the college football season, eh? 🙂 It’s a ritual for me. Not the sleeping, but watching USC Trojans. The first game of the season determines how and where I watch the game for the rest of it. So far, the past 3 years, all games will be watched at home or elsewhere but never at the Coliseum. I don’t watch NFL. Could never get into it. But now I have 3 reasons why I will start following NFL this upcoming years. 1. My Dreamboat dweller Matt Leinart will play for AZ Cardinals. 2. Lendale White, the Thunder, will play for Tennessee Titans with USC’s mortal enemy, Vince Young. 3. Reggie Bush will be whistling dixie with New Orleans Saints. So, okay. I don’t know much about the NFL and the whole drafting process. From what I’ve read, Matty was supposed to go to the Titans or NY Jets and Reggie to Texas. The theory on Matty accordingly...
