News (and a gift!) from Home

I called my dad this morning. The Okay News With mom, we don’t really have “good news” unless it’s “Cancer is in remission!” They have started my mom on the cancer drug. So far, she felt nauseous the first few days and then back to normal again. The stroke recovery is going very well and she is actually eating on her own…a lot of it. *Phew* When I was over there, they took off her feeding tube to change into a new one and to go down another nostril. Mom fought it and that resulted in the tube being removed...

Dates with the Docs

At first I was going to blog something more on a depressing note. But screw it, I have a few dates with a few good doctors tonight. So, first date at 8 p.m. was quite satisfying. Not that I could get a ticket, but even if I could, I can never show my face there out of my superstition. Because when I watch...

Simpson v.s. Star Trek

I know. I’m ADD again. That’s what I do when I’m starting to stress out. I procrastinate. I was on YouTube looking for the footage of OK Go! doing “Here it goes again” treadmill video LIVE on VMA. (For those who haven’t seen this, not only it’s a fantastic video but the band is pretty awesome too.) And I found this. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkTpUxh8Vxc]...
