This is my [air] rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine. My [air] rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my [air] rifle is useless. Without my [air] rifle I am useless [in case of the apocalypse or war against zombies]. I must fire my [air] rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy, who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my [air] rifle and myself...

After 16 years of going home to my family dentist every year, someone else got to look at these pearly…well…ivories. (Whitening these puppies? Not a chance! Not my natural coloring.) After 16 years of being in the U.S., my teeth finally have been touched by American dentists. That’s right. Dentists. Plural. Three of them. All in one day too. Originally, I was supposed to go to the orthodontist consultation appointment then go to work. But then I had this mild sore throat and been tired all over since yesterday, so I decided to just stay home after the appointment. As...

Just got back from seeing Watchmen with Brandon and Lee. Lee, who is a big fan of the graphic novel, gave it a 4 out of 5. She said if we liked this, we definitely have to get the book, which we intend to do just that. Wow. What a revelation! It was stylized just enough. Violent in all the necessary places. I might need to talk to somebody about my mental state because Rorschach is definitely my hero now. Trailers were also massively awesome. Possibly the best line up of trailers: Wolverine, Star Trek, Terminator, and, for some of...

Long Beach Tweet Up group led by @DaNanner (aka Annette), with the help of @LBMatt outdid ourselves today with the photo walkabout at the Port of Long Beach. Well, Matt got us interested with the Port’s photo contest. And then as the Tweet Up started to take shape, he got his boss involved. And here we were this morning at the Port Authority building, getting access to the rooftop and driven down winding and confusing roads around the port in the POLB vans to take great photos. Of course, the AWESOME group of people we hung out with for two...

Work is crazy busy, yo. However, I picked up few things that is worth posting. ** My mom called me in my dream. She asked how I was doing. Funny, I really wished I could talk to her just a few days ago. Brandon asked if she told me to hurry up and talk because phone calls from heaven are expensive. LOL. ** There are a few of the elevators for our floors that act funny quite a bit. A few of us were on the elevator already when it picked up one more person. Once she got in, the...

This weekend has been one of the longer ones I had in a while. Don’t get me wrong, I still had just 2 days like everyone else, but it felt like a week. I guess when you helped others, pampered yourself, and did things you love, it was just as rewarding as a weekend away on a vacation. It’s hard to belief that I voluntarily rolled out of bed at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning, but I did. I was up to bake chocolate croissants to take over to my friend Greg’s garage sale fundraiser for his very first AIDS...
