Honor

I feel honored by your over 10,000 visits, folks. I will show more of my appreciation in the coming days, namely after our big awards dinner on Thursday night. Let the madness past and I will be able to communicate more clearly. 🙂

In the meantime, the story below inspires a post.

His Corps Value Was Bravery – Los Angeles Times

On Nov. 10, 2004, in 30 minutes of close combat, Marine Pfc. Christopher Adlesperger attacked an enemy stronghold in Fallouja, Iraq, and killed at least 11 insurgents after they shot and killed his best friend. He also protected two wounded squad members from attack and saved innumerable Marines. Although injured, he refused to be evacuated until his friend’s body was recovered.

THAT is truly inspiring and truly deserving to be honored.
