Okay. I am no bookworm. And definitely I ain’t well read. But this post by Kuri a while ago sparked my interest. Let us see who’s read what around here. 🙂 The intro: From CV Rick, the 106 (why 106? nobody knows) books most often tagged “unread” at LibraryThing. The idea is to mark the ones you’ve read in bold, the ones you’ve started but not finished in italics, and the ones you read for school in bold and underlined italic. À la CV Rick, I put asterisks next to the ones I plan to read. And I shall do...

My friend Lily must be screaming her little head off last night as Nadal beats Federer at Wimbledon. About damn time, dude. We’ve been waiting....

And I am keeping it that way. Been laying up on the couch with this headache since Brandon left around 2:30 p.m. to attend to some computer emergency. Another reason why the place is quiet. Welcome aboard the most patriotic bus in the region! Wishing everyone a safe and happy ID4! Me? Not doing much. Just chillin’ here with the hubby for the day. My eyes are half opened but I want to post this before I go to bed. My fantastic adventure as a humble blogger attending the Fresh & Easy store grand opening. Highlights include meeting the CEO Tim Mason and finding out that all their execs know the Temple, and me taking a swan dive outside of the store in front of like a hundred people. I should be proud that that was possibly the biggest crowd I’ve ever tripped and fallen in front of… Oh wait. No. There was always that one night of performance of the Nutcracker at the...

We have been busting out our credit cards a little bit too often these few months. But all for the things we do need and we’re willing to eat Top Ramen for a while for. First was my commuter comfort purchases. My lovely red briefcase got here today. I’m going to adore its candy red shell for a few more weeks before slapping on one of my Emily the Strange stickers. Hehee. Then was the birthday party. Instead of me cooking, we ordered a party pack from Naples Rib Company. To our surprise, for $100 from Naples can feed about...
