Traditionally for Thais, they give a little gold bracelet for the baby. You know, Thai culture is tied with gold. It’s something that adorn you now, and you can pawn when destitute. Great gift for all occasions.
But all I can do for you today, the Bean Cactus-Fish, is to wish you good health, much joy, and plenty of success. One day, Chris, I could buy your grand kid a gold bracelet instead. 😉
