No Post Left Behind

Okay. I have to get y’all caught up.

But first.

Paul called Brandon not long after we got home from his vasectomy appointment yesterday.

In a little kid’s voice: “Daddy, daddy! Why did you cut us loose? Don’t you love us any more?”

We damn near died laughing.

Yep. The vasectomy was done. Brandon stayed home today and he’s feeling just fine. The horror of yesterday seems so far away. Well, let’s just say that he wasn’t numb enough for the last little bit of the procedure.

Boys, you can uncross your legs now.

We spent the rest of evening laying about the couch together, watching “Being John Malcovich”. Me curling up on the pillows on the floor with my little fever/bodyache-yness. Brandon curling up on the couch with a bag of frozen peas.

Brandon shook his head at my choice of “weird ass” movies. You know, once in a while you have to watch something non-mainstream to clense your cinematic pallettes. Brandon said he breaks the mundane by watching those cheesy and horrible SciFi channel original movies about monster bugs, reptiles, and chupacabras. Charlie Kaufman just doesn’t do it for him.

Malcovich!??! Malcovich!?!?!

Work has been super busy. It’s like this is priority number one, but THIS needs to be done even sooner than that. Next thing I know I have a plateful of priority number ones. At one point, my desk looks like the Unabomber’s office. Stacks of papers EVERYWHERE.

I’m so swamped that stuff starting to slip through the cracks. A few things was expected of me without me knowing it. I mean, I always deliver the goods. So, if you haven’t seen the goods, may be it’s because I never get the order. Despite popular belief, I really don’t communicate via ESP.

Matter not. I’ll get it all in order on Monday. Hopefully.

Looking forward to tomorrow’s plan. First, a fancy haircut in Pasadena. My ultimate splurge! Then I’ll be hanging out with Celeste and maybe Tiffany most of the day. In the evening, I’ll be at Nhien’s for a small gathering.

Yeah, I’m leaving Brandon at home. Just the way he likes it. 😉

Have a great weekend, everyone!

I liked Being John Malcovich…well, there were things I didn’t like, but other things I really like a lot.
