Like how I remember my last trip to Disneyland was on the day we learned that Princess Diana died, I will remember this Labor Day weekend as the weekend that we lost Steve Irwin. And that I painted my first painting on canvas. The long weekend has been just perfect. Up until I heard the news. Saturday, like I said, I slept from 12-12. Got 4 loads of laundry done through the course of USC kicking Arkansas’ butt. Oh yes. I love a game where I can actually leave the TV to go do things and not worry too much....

I slept for 12 hours last night. From 12 to 12! What a way to start the college football season, eh? 🙂 It’s a ritual for me. Not the sleeping, but watching USC Trojans. The first game of the season determines how and where I watch the game for the rest of it. So far, the past 3 years, all games will be watched at home or elsewhere but never at the Coliseum. I’m up to my ears in HTML, hacking and slashing and adding things to one of our sites which is way outdated and mickeymoused beyond believe. And they want to add LOTS of data. No fun at all to hard code. I’m cheating though, using Dreamweaver to make the file then steal the code and plop it on to the old stuff. Why not use Dreamweaver altogether? These files are so honked up that all the errors are showing up on the design screen that it drives me nuts. That’s why. Anyway. I’m taking a little break from the madness...
