The four girls reunited for another girls dinner. This time, we feasted at Beachwood Barbecue. Three of us did the appetizer-for-dinner with a skillet of the best Mac and Cheese on the planet, steamed clams, stuffed artichokes and a pot of cheese + beer fondue with lovely hush puppies, smoked meatballs, spicy sausages and some other fixings. Aurora, who can’t even have a taste of dairy until she stops breastfeeding, nibbled on a few non-dairy items and enjoyed her plate of venison. Amy and Chris had different reasons for their sleepless nights. Mine was possibly self inflicted. For the third night in a row, I woke up in the middle of night from horrible nightmares. I’m probably going to hell for pointing this out. In the ABC report about a woman with a malfunctioned implanted defibrillator that almost killed her. Here’s my first art purchase! Well, kind of. I won the art but paid for the frame. Heh. I won “Seventeen” from a contest on Raven’s blog a while back.
