Instant Weight Loss

Change your weight into kilos in the U.S., and you’re actually lighter. Apparently, the cylinder that defines how much one kilogram is has become 50 micrograms lighter.  At least the one in the U.S. is. I weigh in at 105 lbs.  (Yes, I’m officially over 100 lbs.  Shut up.)  = 47,627,198,850 micrograms (47.627198850 kilograms) If the U.S. kilo is now 999,950 micrograms, then I actually weigh 47,627,196,469 microgram (47.627196469 kilograms) I’m 2381.359943 micrograms lighter now! The LA Times reported a few days ago claiming that the sales at F&E were 70% off mark. Folks don’t want to change their shopping habits. The lady on the bus...

Definitely Maybe

BBC reports about a possible link that excessive Vitamin E intake may increase risk of lung cancer. As fas as I know, my mom has been taking Vitamin E supplements for years for her skin.  One  of the things she told me to take later on in life along with calcium, pretty much.  It’s the dry skin that runs in both sides of the family, she said.  We need to nourish from outside and inside. Could it be that her vitamin intakes actually cause the cancer?  It’s far fetched, but this report said it’s possible. I know.  I’m reaching.  It’s...
